January 25, 2026 (12:34 a.m.). A major fire is currently raging tonight at the Cluny Market, on Rue 10, in Cap-Haïtien, causing significant material losses for many merchants.

Images received by the newsroom show powerful flames destroying several stalls and goods in a densely commercial area. Electrical installations located near the source of the fire may have contributed to its rapid spread, making control operations more difficult.
