In Haiti, over 50% of the population is under the age of 25, according to the IHSI. The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) views this youth demographic as a vital lever for addressing economic challenges and achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
Through programs such as TIC-Haiti-BRH, Booster PME, the Anténor Firmin Scholarship, RéSACE, and Master’s degree scholarships in partnership with French cooperation, the BRH supports training, employability, and youth entrepreneurship. A strong emphasis is placed on digital skills and financial inclusion.
These initiatives aim to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and stimulate growth. Investing in the youth is, according to the Central Bank, an investment in the country’s stability and future prosperity.
