Several personalities participated, including the US Chargé d’Affaires in Haiti, Henry Wooster, as well as the French and Canadian ambassadors stationed in the country, André François Giroux and Antoine Michon, respectively. The presence of the head of BINUH, Ruiz Massieu, and the head of the European Union delegation were also noted.

Political actors were also present: Maryse Narcisse, Evalière Beauplan, Marjorie Michel, André Michel, Jerry Tardieu, Claude Joseph, former Senator Ronald Larêche, Camille Leblanc, former Minister of Justice, the Director General of the National Presses of Haiti, Ronald Saint-Jean, as well as the President of the Court of Cassation, Jean Joseph Lebrun. A representative of the political party Renmen Ayiti, among others, was also present.

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé presents this document as a tool for uniting stakeholders to achieve stability in the country and create favorable conditions for organizing elections.

He reaffirms his commitment to do everything possible to restore security in the country and organize elections until the installation of the newly legitimate elected officials.

While this document has gained the support of several parties, party groupings, and members of civil society organizations, others denounce it.

This is notably the case for the head of the Grand Rally for the Evolution of Haiti (GREH), Himmler Rébu, and the president of the structure named “Plural Opposition,” Jeantel Joseph.
